How it works A representative will arrive at your party equipped with a gold tester, scale and loupe to evaluate each person's gold. We will help you with your party every step of the way.
What your guests can test for beforehand We are unable to accept any costume jewelry or gold-plated items. You and your guests can do some preliminary work to see if your gold is real. Take a strong magnet if you have one and hover it over your pieces. If any pieces are attracted to it, they are probably not real.
How is the payout price determined? The payout is based on 3 factors:
What are we looking to buy? We purchase yellow, white and rose gold.
What about jewelry with stones in them? We do take pieces with stones in them - we can remove the stones for you if you want to keep the diamonds/stones.
What if I'm not sure if some of my jewelry is real gold? We are happy to test it for you. If you have pieces that are not gold we will be able to determine that for you and at least you will know what you have.
